About Us

The Story
Wild Looms began with a love for flipping furniture.
Iād search for forgotten pieces at thrift stores, Goodwill, and along the side of the road.
Something about restoring an item from the past and giving it value again brought me joy. This was my way to relax and simply be in the moment.

As my husband and I moved between homes, this love for restoring furniture evolved into creating spaces that truly felt like home.
This is where Wild Looms began to take shape.
While searching for pieces that made each space feel more like ours, I kept coming back to rugs.
I loved the wild colors they could introduce into a room and the way they felt underfoot while walking, lying down to read, or relaxing with our pets.
The problem was that most rugs manufactured for retail stores wore down quickly, used synthetic materials, and followed modern trends with predictable earth tones.
I wanted something unique. Something that made our space feel like ours.

This is when I discovered the world of antique and vintage rugs.
The first rug I purchased was small. Just a placemat for our bathroom.
But immediately, I knew something was different. The colors were more vibrant. The texture under my feet was soft. It felt unique to our home.
From that moment on, I knew antique and vintage rugs were the only rugs for me.
I created Wild Looms to help others find rugs that make their space feel like home.
Each rug carries a story. When you bring one into your home, it becomes part of yours.
